He said this at Fela Debate 14, Election Time in Lagos on Monday.
According to him, he promises to do things differently, to be able to achieve different results in governance if voted in.
Braithwaite added that the fundamental reason for governance is to make people happy as the citizens have the rights to employment which is fundamental, he decried that unemployment leads to insecurity, crime, homelessness, mental health issue and others. ” the results is what we saw in 2020 during the #Endsars and for me it’s going to be around 60 percent youth employment” he hinted.
Braithwaite however charges politicians to be truly sincere and work for the people.
For him, what he will do differently is to push for mass creation of jobs in the various sectors and also push for unemployment benefits or welfare.
” My priority in the government is to create jobs, and once that’s done, the private sectors can fit in and ride on”
